The owners of a new bridalwear outlet in West Bridgford are hoping that Royal Wedding fever inspires many more brides and grooms to tie the knot, after commercial property experts at Nottingham law firm Rothera Dowson helped them launch their new venture.

Shade Apparel, owned by sisters Charlotte Jarvie and Jessica Beard, was launched after Charlotte approached Rothera Dowson seeking legal assistance to acquire the lease on the premises. Commercial property partner Neil Etherington and his colleague Tom Gibbons were only too happy to help.

“Charlotte, the joint owner, approached us to enquire as to how she’d go about acquiring the property on Melton Road in West Bridgford,” explains Neil.

“Neil and Tom negotiated and advised on the terms of the lease, as well as dealing with certain planning issues that affected the property. After that Shade Apparel was born.

Neil adds: “West Bridgford is an increasingly popular location to start up a business. Our West Bridgford commercial property team is dealing with a stream of enquiries, and we’re keen to offer our expertise to any potential entrepreneur who needs advice on either new or existing premises.”

Neil said that the future looks bright for Shade Apparel.
