27/03/2007
Rothera Dowson is pleased to announce that Associate Family Solicitor, Lorna Sear, has been made a Partner. Joining in her success, Amy Rothera, currently a Solicitor specialising in Wills and Probate, has been promoted to an Associate.
Lorna, who has been qualified for nine years and with Rothera Dowson for four years, will join the Partnership on 1st April 2007 and become the 17th Partner of the firm. The promotion recognises Lorna’s commitment to her clients and Rothera Dowson, and her extensive experience and training in the field of Family Law. Lorna is a RESOLUTION Accredited Specialist, and also a Collaborative Lawyer, offering her clients alternatives to court proceedings in separation and divorce cases.
Amy works from the firm’s Lace Market and Mapperley offices, and is the sixth generation of solicitors from the Rothera family. Amy joined Rothera Dowson as a Trainee Solicitor in 2000, and has been qualified for five years. Her promotion to Associate will also take effect from 1st April, and recognises her success and experience in the field of wills, probate, administration of estates, trusts and powers of attorney.
Managing Partner Jayne Smith said “We are delighted to announce these promotions of two of our exceptional Solicitors. Lorna will be a valuable asset to the Partnership and Amy will build on her expertise and knowledge to best serve our clients. We look to both of them to help shape the future of Rothera Dowson and continue to drive the firm forwards over the coming years.”
