Rothera Dowson goes Red

21/03/2007

Partners and staff at Rothera Dowson raised over £162 on Friday 16th March as part of Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. Staff organised a Big Red Lunch and encouraged everyone to come into their offices wearing something red.

Of all the money raised on Red Nose Day, 40% will be used to help disadvantaged people and communities across the UK.  Whether it be a woman who is in a violent relationship, an older person feeling incredibly alone or a young man struggling to see a way out of depression, Red Nose Day cash is helping to improve - and in some cases save - lives.

The remaining 60% of the money raised will improve the lives of people living in extreme poverty across Africa - from a child struggling to survive on the streets, to a community living in an incredibly poor urban slum.
