Our Charity Work
Rothera Dowson is committed to supporting local and national charities.
During 2008 Rothera Dowson will be supporting the Help A Nottinghamshire Child project promoted by local charity the National Centre for Citizenship & the Law (NCCL). We recently commissioned an electronic Christmas card – view it here - and the firm is making a donation to the charity instead of sending Christmas cards to clients. We shall be undertaking other fundraising events and activities over the coming months.
Founded in 2006, Help A Nottinghamshire Child is NCCL’s campaign to raise money to enable every Nottinghamshire child to visit the NCCL Galleries of Justice in
Help A Nottinghamshire Child aims to give Nottinghamshire’s children a head start in life, to make them proud of their city, and to give them the skills and understanding they need to be good citizens.
Lady Falconer, Carl Froch and Su Pollard are patrons of Help A Nottinghamshire Child and have kindly agreed to continue their support for a second year, as have major sponsors Nottingham Panthers and RBS.

Jeans for Genes
In October each year Rothera Dowson takes part in national Jeans for Genes Day. The appeal benefits ten national charities, including Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, SPARKS and WellChild. Proceeds help to fund vital research into genetic disorders affecting children and provide valuable support services for families across the UK.
Over the last five years we have raised hundreds of pounds through the kind donations of our staff.
